Hotel George is the oldest in Ukraine. Built in 1901 in the eclectic
style of Neo-Renaissance by Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and
Hermann Helmer, it is widely known for its friendly welcome, simple
charm, relaxed atmosphere and attentive personal service. Situated in
the very central part of the city, the hotel overlooks the monument of
famous polish poet Adam Mickiewicz. It is within walking distance to
the Opera House and City Hall square (called Rynok square) with its
numerous historical buildings and architectural monuments. Hotel can
accommodate up to 150 guests. There is a beauty salon, a
room
service, a bar, a tea-room, a restaurant for 130 persons,
a conference room for 75 persons at the hotel. Hotel offers newly-renovated rooms, furnished with Italian furniture, new plasma
TVs, with slippers and bathrobes.
The room charge includes breakfast and all taxes. The price of an
additional place is 150 UAH. Children under 6 years old stay free of
charge in the hotel.
