Today, our partner Hertz Ukraine is a
strongly-positioned company under Hertz International, expanded to 10
full-operation offices in Kyiv, Boryspil airport, L'viv, Kharkiv,
Donetsk,
Dnipropetrovsk, Symferopil, Sephastopil, Odesa, Yalta,
Zaporizhzhya. In 1997 first Rental LLC acquired nationwide
franchise from Hertz
International and began its operations with 1 car out of its office
located in Kiev. Size of the fleet of cars has tripled in the last 3
years and in June
2007 Hertz Ukraine offers wide range of more than 150 new cars from
economy to prestige class.

expanding throughout Europe and worldwide. The company "Optima
leasing"/SIXT"
has been represented on the Ukrainian market since 2000, providing
lease, rent, transfers, chauffeur-drive service, sale of new and
second-hand vehicles, trade-in, technical service, maintenance, repair
works and program of technical assistance throughout Ukraine. Since

Rates
Rates include oil and maintenance, loss, damage and third party
liability insurances, VAT, but not gasoline. Daily rates are for 24
hours from start of rental. If a daily rental period is exceeded by
more than 59 minutes, another full day will be charged. Ask for long
term rental rates if you wish to reduce expenses.
Reservations and Payment
Reservations are made by car category only. We cannot guarantee a
specific car model although we always try to match your preference
should you express one. Major credit cards as American Express, Visa,
MasterCard are accepted as well as cash and payment by invoice.
Minimum Age
The minimum age is 21 years for all car groups econom, compact ,
intermediate and 25 years for groups standard, full-size, 4x4
Driving License
The Renter should be in possession of a driving license
for at least 2 years and a valid passport. The driving license must be
valid for use in Ukraine.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
This kind of insurance is already included in rates and
covers sum of up to 8000 EUR per accident for each person in the rented
Hertz vehicle in case of primary disability or death. Insurance doesn't
cover medical expenses.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
This option limits your financial liability for damage
to the Hertz vehicle, its parts and accessories, except theft,
attempted theft or vandalism, provided the vehicle is used in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
CDW Non-Waivable Excess.
All rentals are subject to a non-waivable excess, in amount of 600 EUR
for groups econom, compact, intermediate and 1200 EUR for groups
standard, full-size, 4x4, for which you are responsible in the event of
damage to the Hertz vehicle during the rental.
This option is obligatory and cannot be rejected. Theft Protection (TP)
This option limits your financial liability for loss or theft of the
Hertz vehicle, its parts and accessories, provided the vehicle is used
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
TP non-waivable excess.
All rentals are subject to a non-waivable excess, in amount of 600 EUR
for econom, compact , intermediate and 1200 EUR for groups standard,
full-size, 4x4 for which you are responsible in case of theft of the
Hertz vehicle during the rental.
This option is obligatory and cannot be rejected.
Customer's responsibility
In case of damage or loss to the Hertz vehicle, its parts and
accessories, theft, attempted theft or vandalism, and in case of fire,
breakage of glass, the Renter, even without being at fault, is fully
liable. The Renter is fully liable for all infringements committed
while in possession of the vehicle.
Territory of driving
Driving outside of Ukraine is prohibited.
Minimum Rental
Minimum self-drive rental time is 24 hours.
Delivery/Collection
Cars may be delivered or collected within limits of
cities, where Hertz branches are situated, free of charge from 9:00 to
18:00 or for 24 EUR during other hours.
Penalties
Hertz will charge a penalty of 240 Euro (including VAT)
for each case of lost car documents, keys or in case of damaged tires.
Additional Driver
In case of any additional driver, copies of his/her
passport and driving license must be presented. The additional driver
charge is ?6 per day with a maximum 24 Euro per rental (including VAT).
Equipment
During winter months all cars are equipped with winter
tires.
Attention
The police MUST ALWAYS
be called in case of:
An accident or damage to the vehicle,
Injury to a person
Suspicion of theft of the vehicle or its parts.
Any accident or damage to car must also be reported to Hertz office not
later than after 24 hours.
