On 19 – 20 December, 2009 Lviv city council together with representatives of tourism industry in Lviv set up a project called “Weekend in Lviv at half price”. The project includes a number of services ready to be provided by the tourism branch of Lviv at 50% discount (accommodation, meals, city tours, museums and leisure activities).

The art. exhibition “Ivan Rutkovych. Zhovkva Iconostasis (1697-1699)” will open in the Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv (20 Svobody Ave.) on September, 11 2009 at 4:00 p.m.

Lviv implementing a project to refresh historical areas ahead of UEFA EURO 2012. Training courses on restoring historical doors (bramas) have started in Lviv. The trainings are conducted by German experts dealing with joinery.
