Good news – one more flight to Lviv. Turkish Airlines has launched new flights to Lviv (Lvov) Ukraine. The new flights to Lviv is operating 3 times a week on Monday, Thursday and Sunday in both directions. The planned schedule for Lviv flights is as follows:

Turkish Airlines will launch flights to Lviv (Ukraine) as of 27 July 2009.

The new flights to Lviv will operate 3 times a week on Monday, Thursday and Sunday in both directions.

The planned schedule for Lviv flights is as follows;

Istanbul – Lviv	Departure / Arrival
Monday, Thursday, Sunday	12:35 14:40
Lviv – Istanbul	Departure / Arrival
Monday, Thursday, Sunday	15:40 17:35

Turkish Airlines also offers promotional prices for a month, during the promotion period the round trip tickets will cost with a price of starting by 99 Euros (without taxes).

Lviv is the 118^th international destination which is also the sixth flight point in Ukraine after Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev, Odessa and Simferopol.

Wizzair cancels London-Lviv flight

Wizzair shows unreliable service by cancelling London Luton – Lviv fligh. This has been done on a very short notice and at least some of our customets who had already bought tickets were even not informed about this cancelation.
From what we found out from Wizzair office in Ukraine the flight London – Lviv is operated until 26 April 2009 only. The people who paid for the tickets for the flights after that day will get a refund. They have an option to buy a new ticket London – Kiev, subject to availability.
We regret that many people who planned a journey to Lviv will have to make changes and either to cancel a trip or to find a more costly last minute travel arrangement. We hope very much that another low cost airline will soon fill the gap.

New flight from Munich to Lviv

German airline Lufthansa is to launch daily Lviv (LWO) – Munich (MUC) flights as of March 30 2009.

The plane departs at 13.05 from Lviv and at 09.25 from Munich.
The Economy Basic fare for a return flight on Lufthansa web-site is 407 USD.

Great news for the city! From January 2009 low cost airline Wizzair will start two direct flights to Lviv.
