Congratulations to Lviv and all it’s lucky inhabitans! Lviv has won the title of “the best Ukrainian city for living” (2009).
On June 2009, the news magazine “Focus” has presented its annual list of “55 best Ukrainian cities”. Lviv became the winner of the ranking.
Lviv left behind Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivci, Yalta, Kharkiv, Odessa, Illichivsk, Simveropol, and Sevastopol.
Lviv has secured its first position due to the high records by all criteria. Particularly high was the “Focus” representatives’ recognition of business and educational potential of the “City of Lion”, as well as the level of cultural events and solicitude. By the last two criteria Lviv has scored the maximum number of points possible.
